SLR Appoints new APAC Infrastructure Leader

SLR Consulting: SLR is pleased to announce the
appointment of Alex Campbell to lead the Infrastructure sector in Asia
Pacific.
After graduating in the UK with a Masters in Engineering, Alex has
acquired over 14 years
environmental consulting experience initially
with Buro Happold then holding various senior positions with WSP
including the most recent role as Director (Specialist Consulting).
His experience in the Infrastructure sector includes some of the largest
projects underway in Australia, working for a range of government and
private-sector clients.
As an
Acoustic Engineer Alex specialises in architectural and building
acoustics; environmental impact assessments; building services noise
control; and vibration assessments and mitigation measures. More
recently he has carried out environmental assessments on key projects
including
Sydney Metro Northwest and was the Acoustic Project Director
on the Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project.
Regarding his move to SLR, Regional Manager Paul Gardiner commented:

to welcome Alex to SLR in his role as Sector Leader and as part of the
APAC Management Team. Alex’s leadership experience combined with his
strong personal skills, and business development expertise will

Alex is a Chartered Professional Engineer and is an active member of
Engineers Australia and the Australian Acoustic Society.
